Garlic Fermented in Honey- DO NOT Feed this to Dogs - Tasty Recipe Otherwise
Garlic can cause vomitting with dogs not because they're vampires.
This is a very easy recipe to make and all you need is time for the ingredients to mesh together. You can use the honey in BBQ sauce, marinades, or my favorite feta cheese. The garlic can be eaten by itself, it’s very addicting! Just don’t feed this to dogs. Fermenting honey and garlic collectively creates some thing so rather special.
When you ferment honey with garlic, the honey takes on intensely savory garlic flavors. The garlic cloves sincerely alternate significantly in the course of fermentation—losing their harsh chunk whilst tasting mellower and sweeter.
So, how do you make fermented garlic honey? First off let’s peel the cloves.
You will need a glass jar, two heads of garlic to cowl your garlic cloves (feel free to add more the garlic is seriosuly that tasty).
I would suggest fermenting for at least 1 month, but I’ve done upwards of 4 months and the taste is out of this world.
